Die erste Gruppe des JG300 flog auschließlich, wie bereits auch im NachtJagd - VersuchsKommando "Herrmann" (NJVK), Flugzeuge vom Typ Messerschmitt Me 109G. Anfangs teilten sich die Staffeln die Flugzeuge mit der I./JG11, so dass es schnell zu Streitigkeiten in Fragen Nachschub, Verantwortlichkeit und Reparatur kam. Oft wurden Flugzeuge unklar gemeldet, weil diese von der Nachtjagd im "Wilde Sau" Zustand abgestellt wurden.
I. Gruppe JG300
The first group of JG300 flew -also since experiment command "Herrmann", airplane of the type Messerschmitt Me 109G. At first the echelons shared the airplanes with the I./JG11 so that it came to the quarrel who must repair and caring the figther airplanes. Airplanes were often being put down in "Wild Boar" condition. Pilots of JG11 reported these airplanes unclearly.
